We enhance hospital spaces, making them more pleasant for patients and staff.  We also fund new equipment, so patients receive the best possible care.  Here are some examples of how we’ve made a difference:

Investing in robotic surgery

We've invested £5m in new and refreshed robotic surgery equipment at UCLH.  This new equipment at the University College Hospital Grafton Way Building and Westmoreland Street will mean more patients will be treated, more effectively, helping to reduce post-pandemic waiting lists.

Refurbishment of children and young people’s emergency department

Following a successful fundraising campaign, the children and young people’s emergency department at University College Hospital has had a makeover making it a more welcoming, age-appropriate space for the thousands of young patients who visit each year.

Keeping UCLH in bloom

Our gardens appeal has raised vital funds to replenish and maintain UCLH’s precious green spaces.  The gardens, at the University College Hospital Grafton Way Building and Macmillan Cancer Centre provide an oasis for patients and visitors while the garden at Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals provides a respite space for hard working staff.
